Hospital Lounge & Retail Space (Not Built
Medical Center Lounge - Philadelphia, PA (Not Built) The design task was to renovate a concourse/lounge area of a local medical center. The objective was to create a "Grab & Go" snack area, Retail Space, a Lounge, and a dinning space with a full kitchen. The dinning area was a previously unused outdoor terrace enclosed to be able to be used all year round. The large existing concourse was intended to reflect that of a cafe with a small work area. Living walls were to be placed in all areas to bring the outdoors in.
